Subject: out of body experience?

When i was trying to sleep i have had the feeling of being paralyzed and only being able to move my fingers, there was a repeatative loud pulsing ring in my head and all i could see is black, unless it happens and my eyes are opened. I read up on your pages about astral projection and oeb experiences and i have the same things it listed there. But the thing everytime it has happened i struggled to wake up --> woke up and thats it. I was wondering what i should do next time when this happens. I also have a question wondering what the humming sounds like. All the sounds i heard until today were loud pulsing sounds taht scared me while the one i had today was a soft humming like a fan was on. I was wondering if the loud pulsing sound could be a bad spirit? I also read taht it is safe when you ap b/c your attached to the cord and you will come to your body if something bad happens. I have never had the spirit out of body experience and i was wondering how i can get past the paraylsis and humming sounds to do that.
