I absolutely think that he is tying the rope around himself to imitate the silver cord. I will try directly telling him that he can only do these things while he is asleep. I don't know why I didn't think of that when he started jumping off the bed. He told me that he is like a kite (that's what makes me think he sees the cord) and that he flies over his daddy and I and he can see us sleeping. He also said that he cannot fly very fast but he is trying to learn to fly faster, eventhough he's really scared. He said that he has flown to the stars. I don't know anything about astral projection other than I think its your spirit wandering around at night linked to your body by the cord. Its kind of like the anchor rope when you are scuba diving, its how you find your way back. But I don't know. Even though it has happened to me a couple of times in my life, I'm not that open to it. However, I'll do anything to help my son. He was also able to quantify how many times this has happened to him at each age. He started doing this at age one. I find this interesting since he doesn't understand quantity yet but his numbers are exact and reasonable in regards to the astral projection.
I told him if he wants to go back to his body, he just has to say so, but I don't know if this is true.
