Dear Heart; The process is indeed difficult. Some call it the 'Dark Night of the Soul.' There is a wonderful book by Ken Wilbur called 'No Boundary' and another equally by Stanslov Grof:'Spiritual Emergency'. They will provide you with the insights that you need so that you can understand that your process of spiritual evolution is a normal, albeit difficlt and painful, one. Also, find one who has had that experience so that yours can be validated. You have an inner 'knowingness' that will allow you to chose wisely. May Peace, Love and Light await you at journey's end.
