Motor GP - Australian Grand Prix (motocycles):
Casey Stoner from Australia won the race as well as the World championship with an unassailable lead with 2 GP races still to go.
And it is his 26th birthday today as well - Happy Birthday, Casey.

Caulfield Cup (horse racing): A donkey called 'Southern Speed' from Adelaide, S.A. won the 2,400m $2.5 million race outbraying, I mean outstaying the others.
It paid at 10 to 1.

Rugby:
Rugby League 4 Nations Test - Australia 42 beat N.Z 6
Rugby Union World Cup - N.Z 20 beat Australia 6.
Net result of both rugby matches: Australia 48 beat N.Z 26
Nothing more needs to be said!!!! (especially from the Inspector)
