Captain,

Good to see your return to the message board. From time to time when I come across new people, especially some from Malaysia, I mention to them that I still maintain contact with our classmates, through this MB. Thanks to you that we have this MB. I know not all are comfortable with appearing on the MB, and that's fine -- to each its own. In my golden years I spend time with my grandkids. I guess I am lucky as they are living with us, all under one roof. Maybe we have more time to observe their development. It is a joy to see them develop new skills almost by the day. One turns 7 and another turns 4 very soon. And in between childcare, it's Chinese Heritage work, and that is also bringing in different enjoyment. The books we wrote managed to be sold to the US, Canada, various libraries, and on our Chin / Gin Clan website I continue to get enquiries from fellow clan members in search of roots. I am learning Chinese more or less one word a day -- Simplified as well as Traditional. Thing is, I correspond with my relatives and friends in China, in Chinese of course. There is plenty to do, in fact a challenge to find time to do all I want to do. I guess it's better that way.

If our other classmates are watching or reading this MB, I encourage them to join in this or other MB of their choice. The world is still a wonderful place in spite of Global Warming (true or not? -- Global Warming that is)

Regards, LG
