More on old age disease.....
4 of us attended Uni at the same time, played badminton together at the same time, partied together at the same time, and went seperately on my own careers at the same time. However kept in touch all these years (like the CO64 did for us).

Dennis , an Electrical Engineer passed away in Melbourne 3 weeks ago of an inoperable tumour inplicated in cancer of the throat (non smoker and very fit 60s').
Earlier this year, Dr Paul fell down a flight of steps at his surgery, tore his ligaments so badly that he was in a wheelchair for 2 1/2 months.

And last Saturday, Lee & I were having lunch when he shocked me on announcing he has been diagnosed with Parkinsons Disease.
Cross my fingers, I am the last one in the group not suffering a serious ailment ......yet!

So as far as dying of old age is concerned, I am afarid that disease and accidents are helping or speeding us along that eternal road.
How despairing!!
