Hari,
I am not a religious person, and I cannot offer any words of wisdom in the religious sense. That said, I share with you my experience, as a way of sharing loads and life's unfolding chapters:
In 2004, I lost my mother, my mother-in-law and my father in-law. All in a year, in fact in a space of months. In 2008, I lost my best friend and within weeks, lost another good friend. They were not particularly old, just over 50s, below 60s. I still grieve but as each day passes, it's better, only in the sense that I have come to accept death of friends and extended family members if we ourselves live longer.
On the flip side, an old friend who is a grandson of the Chinese pioneer whose life story we have been researching celebrated his 100 years old last month. He is still going strong.
We pray all rest in peace. My thoughts with you. You take care.
Regards, CYM
