>Here are some of the statistics:-

How about the 300 million poeple who drive EVERY DAY - thus statistically there should be more accidents and deaths just by the sheer numbers of drivers?

>• A Boeing aircraft takes off or lands every 2 seconds
>somewhere in the world - all day, every day!

AND 30 million cars set off on a journey every 2 seconds in the world.......etc., etc.?

I surrender the case though as I guess there is nothing worse than a passenger who wants to be let out of a jetliner at 30,000ft because he/she starts to get panicky over the fear of flying.
So if the Captain can convince the passenger that there is more chance of getting run over by a car going to the grocery store than this plane crashing - then this is certainly a much better alternative than dosing the passenger with a double lot of Valium. Ha-ha!

Keep it up Captain, maybe you can now write about the necessity and economic sense of getting Air Asia to fly to Sydney?
And WOW! - you get to play with a stimulator every day?
I won't have to send you any more sexy videos or pics......
