Well, as from yesterday, the Australian Health Authorities will now be treating 'swine flu' just as ordinary flu.
More people die from influenza every year than from the 'swine' variety as the Doc says.
As a matter of fact, the deaths are only around 10-12 people AND ALL the deaths involved patients already having a much more serious health problem (cancer, other respiratory diseases like pneumonia, HIV, etc).
The only people at risk are apparently maybe the younger set (under 12s', much older people and of course patients who are already sick with something else).

So, "swine flu" appears to be a lot of hogwash and the W.H.O told us a big porker re this disease.

Captain, I understand that Air Asia will be putting out a special promotional fare from Sydney to KL very soon (during July) for flights starting in December 2009.
So, we may soon see you here for some more lobsters and red wine?
