Hiya Captain,

Now that Air Asia and JetStar (low cost carrier of QANTAS) are now great buddies with lots of common ground and co-sharing arrangements..... what are the chances of Air Asia flying KL-Sydney-KL routes?
Both Airlines also fly the same Airbus planes (A320/A330?) and may even share staff, perhaps?

It's time MAS be given some competition on this very lucrative route as there are no other Airlines that fly the SYD-KL direct sector. That is why I think the Malaysian Gov't stopped Air Asia into coming to Sydney until maybe now. JetStar used to fly SYD-KL-SYD but ceased during 2008.
The MAS flights are almost always 100% full especially during the school and University holidays.
