Yes, the volcanic ash has disrupted world wide air travel. You can further see my posting in my flying site here (

But I was still flying regionally out of harm’s way over here. My wife was stranded in London after she went over to help my daughter and her twins. Anyway, I will be flying there on the 1st of May and picking her back on the return flight.

Many of the European airports were shut down for 6 days and millions of travelers were inconvenienced. Like it or not, many are dependent on air travel to move around or else Wizard will take months to reach Toronto to see his daughter and grandchildren by ship!
