Inspector, I just realised why Bangkok is known as bangkok. a bit slow lah. When you arrive, give me a call. We go to a Shanghainese style place. Food of course, not that I am aware of any Shanghai style entertainment.
Doc. That was a good translation / interpretation of Li Bai's poet. He was a happy many, died happy, trying to embrace the moon, while drunk. Perhaps we do have more time to appreciate the writings of others. Never did enjoy poety when we had to pass examinations.
Last evening, we went to a Drain Party, to farewell two young fellows, going around the world soon -- Europe, North Africa, Turkey, India, Vietnam. Good isn't it, that young people can travel before they settle down. The drain party was, well, in a drain. This is a very big dain, the caven at least 30 feet high. It runs into the Yarra river, the main river running acreoss Melbourne. The young people done very well. Row of Candles along the side of the drain walk way, looked like a aircraft landing strip at night. There was music -- young music. We were the only over 50s -- actually over 60s. I don't know if some of you remembered -- Peng Peng and MCL might remember. Back in HSK, we use to have Drain Party as well. That was 40 years ago.
