Yes I have tried the no seed boxed meat only durians and also the whole frozen Thai ones. The whole ones are around A$2.90/kg in Sydney, but the no seed box of only 300-500gms cost something like $A6 per box which is A$12 to A$18/kg. So I do not know if this is competitive at all.

Regardless, there is nothing like the fresh stuff and the season starts late June/July in North Malaysia. Anyhow, its an excuse to go to Penang and buy some cheap good quality DVDs at the STOP shopping center and enjoy some of the local food.

There is of course nothing to prevent us from gorging in Klang/KL as well. I will remember to bring my fart meter along just in case. Haha!
