Hi Guys,

Thank you for the durians and evening in Klang town.
Yes, "marjerin" durians certainly tasted like margarine - smooth and delctable. It was certainly one of the best that I have ever tasted (in the past 30+ years).
It wa scertainly great to see so many old friends again and this at 1:00am in the morning. Lim Siang Chong & wife surprised me with their attendance ....after a Church service at 11.30pm.

I am currrently in Singapore having fun with my Maxis sim card because it does not allow me to call - only receive. You would think that Maxis would allow "roaming" into and from Singapore?

This is my first time in an Internet Cafe and a couple of lovely Malay girls are staring at me as I open up Capt. C.H. Koh's emails with pictorials attached. Well, they are not all wowsers here in Singapore. An hour ago I had the fortunate luck of visiting a store at the Lucky Plaza called "HOUSE OF CONDOMS". What a great name and tell you what, the Singapore younger set is NOT shy about wandering into these kind of shops and looking around. I even overheard 2 young ladies arguing about whether the 'long lasting' lubrication gel was better than the 'cool & minty' one. The shop Asst. (about 20 years old) stepped in and recommended the strawberry flavoured one instead as it did it "all" plus "tastes good and is water based"....Hmmmmm!
You should have heard the debate about "cordless" vibrators vs vibrators with cords and how the cord can get tangled up underneath the legs or get caught up in the pubic hair. I kid you not - these are young Asian girls talking openly in a public shop situated on the sidewalk of a major shopping mall on Orchard Road.
Wow.........what are we Apeks missing out in Malaysia - and even down under, the younger set get embarassed about going into these stores?

So what else am I going to experience in the new "vibrant" (not vibrating) Singapore? I will let you know if there are any developments.
Otherwise, i will catch up on the 15th July.
