One picture of the Fireman and the koala drinking out of his water bottle sure got some publicity right around the world - says it all.

How can they manage the trees & forests when the minority Greenies do not allow proper conservation to be carried out? A lot of the local Councils (Greenies unfortunately)have the say on tree preservation as well as land & foilage clearance. Undergrowth or fuel clearance(used to be called back burning) and bush fire prevention does not exist in their vocabulary. Even the Federal Government depends on the Greenies & Independents in the Senate to pass any legislation - so very little gets done.

Water? That's a joke.....the Labor Party in Queensland knocked back 2 dam proposals about 8 years ago and 2008 saw the just about worst drought in history. If those dams had been built instead of pampering to a few flying bat habitats, Q'ld need not have gone to the higheset water rationing status.

It's all them tree huggers who are contributing to global warming. Fires rage out of control due to non management of wild forests and water is scarce becuase the minority does not want to flood the "natural beauty" of gum trees. Give us a break!!!
