Class of '53' Tech

Shirley Ann Priest Poole 75, Whiteland, passed away January 14, 2011. She was born July 16, 1935 in Indianapolis to the late James Virgil and Fay (Wall) Priest. She married Donald E. Poole on November 25, 1955 at Indianapolis and he preceded her in death January 29, 1987. Shirley retired from the Johnson County Clerk's Office. Survivors include her son Michael Poole of Greenwood; daughters Vicki Poole Hoffmann of Franklin, Kathy (Michael) Mueller of Franklin, and Michelle (Robert) Harris of Los Alamos, NM; and brother Robert (Connie) Priest of Beech Grove; and three grandchildren. Services will be 10:00 AM, Tuesday in Singleton Community Mortuary and Memorial Center with visitation 4:00 – 8:00 PM, Monday at the mortuary. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts have been suggested to American Diabetes Association. www.singleton mortuary.com
