Judith Cox Badders, 70, formerly of Muncie, died January 21, 2011, at the Health Center of Pensacola, Florida.

She was born April 10, 1940, in Indianapolis, the daughter of Raymond R. Cox and Edith (Jines) Cox.

Judith was a 1959 graduate of Arsenal Technical High School. She retired from Ingalls Shipyard in Pascagoula, Mississippi prior to her moving to Pensacola.

Survivors include two sons, Scot Badders, (wife, Ellen), Ocean Springs, Mississippi and Russell Badders, (wife, Ashley), Pensacola, Florida; one sister, Dixie Tempest, (husband, Bill), North Vernon, Indiana; and three grandsons, Alan Badders, Ocean Springs, Mississippi; Simon Badders, Ocean Springs, Mississippi and Conner Badders, Pensacola, Florida.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Raymond R. Cox and Edith Cox Philips and her husband, Arthur C. Badders.

Services will be held 12 noon, Wednesday, January 26, 2011 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel with Pastor Rusty Clements officiating. Entombment will follow in Gardens of Memory Mausoleum, north of Muncie.

Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Wednesday at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel.
