Thanks Sam and Linda, good information on him. I'm glad he is still alive, and hope he has recorded his experiences on paper, tape, or video. I think there is a group that does try to record all the WWII military (well, I'm sure there are several such groups).

I will try to retrieve the November'95 Technically Speaking article. I thought I had already but can't find it (does that sound familiar? It does if your house is like mine!)
