Vivian I. Wright

89, of Carmel, passed away June 22, 2012. Vivian was born November 5, 1922, in Indianapolis, to the late Nancy and Harlan Couch.

Vivian was a graduate of Arsenal Technical High School. She married Donald F. Wright and he preceded her in death in August 2008. She was a member of Irvington Presbyterian Church, and was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at 1:00 p.m. at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 9700 Allisonville Rd.

Vivian is survived by her son, Ronald A. Wright (Norma); grandchildren, Aaron Wright (Leeza), Nancy Stephens (Matthew), and Mary Schroeder (Michael); six great-grandchildren, a sister, Urmogene Cornell, and a brother, Harlan Crouch, Jr. A daughter, Linda L. McArthur, preceded her in death.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, 6350 N. Andrews Ave, Ft. Lauderdale, FL, 33309-2130.

Final care and arrangements are entrusted to Shirley Brothers Fishers-Castleton Chapel .
