Geraldine Edith Woods Frye

Born 11-23-1928, died Friday 6-22-12 in the loving company of her family. She was the daughter of Charles Woods and Della Romas Woods Wand. She was preceded in death by husband, Calvin Frye and survived by adult children, Bonnie (Mike Weaver) Frye, Joseph Frye, Sandy (David) Frye Rusaw, , sister Nellie Bonesteel; grandchildren, Shane Frye, Joshua Frye Weaver, Zachery Frye, Asher Frye Weaver, Elizabeth Frye, Savannah Frye Rusaw, and Caroline Frye Rusaw.

She was reared in Indianapolis and graduated from Arsenal Technical High school. She began her career as a phlebotomist at the Indiana Blood Center and retired form Community Hospital at age 72. She was active at the Lawrence Senior Center, a member of The Degree of Honor, and Moose Lodge in retirement years.

Flowers are welcome or donations can be made to the Lawrence Senior Center.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, June 28, 2012 in Flanner and Buchanan - Washington Park East , 10722 E. Washington Street from 11:30 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow in Washington Park East Cemetery.
