Oh Hula I am so sorry you have to go through this yet again. He is selfish but at the same time, its his decision and I know you do not want to be with someone who makes all the decisions based on ONE and not the two of you and the children.

I just happened to open a file here at work and it was a picture of Spencer and myself last year in October when he looked so healthy and was not using drugs but was using alcohol on a daily basis and secretly. Anyhow, my stomach did flip flops. He looked so healthy but we do not know what goes on in their head and how come they cant or wont so something to help themselves. I miss him so much and I know you must miss your husband. They will always be a part of us even if we don't see them or hear from them, which is better given the circumstances. But so far my life hasn't felt normal or whatever I think normal feels like. My heart aches for him all the time. Not so much on a daily basis anymore, but I do think of him often and I love him so much, well the way he was.
Sometimes they use so many drugs to cover up pains and self afflicted wounds and then they don't recover until they face the facts that they need to seek professional help for physchiatric issues that they have brought on with the drugs or covered up with the drugs. I will pray for your family. I know exactly what you are going through. Sometimes it is hard to reach out to others and Jesus at times, but we need to do it. Don't feel defeated. I do alot of times but I am trying not to.
