Subject: update on my kid Author: nancy [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 11:01:36 02/28/06 Tue WHEW........was up all night dealing with cops that were dumber than sacks of hammers.. if I don't offend anyone by saying that.. in the end run.. it was I.. arriving at the hospital at 5:45 this morning.......had to wait until 8:30 before the coroner's office opened... Long story short.. the young man who had been brought in early on Sun. am........was identified by the time I was speaking with them......so.. it's all good.... He's holed up downtown again.........he doesn't need $$ anymore.. as he knows pretty much everyone......he just has to stay away from the one's who are packing...unfortunately though...it's much more common than it was......but..either way......he's alive as far as I know.. no contact of course... but as you said... it's part of the addiction.. I also believe that it's his way of protecting me from that milieu......that's my opinion.........but.. enough is enough now..........love him to bits.. but I'll be damned if I'm staying up again for over 24 hours because maybe he was in a body bag somewhere...............it's just not right..nor is it fair................. I don't know when he'll surface but.. we will have words re: this past night.......... Thank you again for your support... I SO NEED TO SLEEP.. my adrenaline is just starting to come down............so..I will say goodnight/day... and again.. thank you so much for pointing out the need for me to care for myself...........it's not something I do well........but..
