Daughter stole two credit cards and a check, from us then stole a replacement card out of mailbox.
I called the sheriff over a week ago, and the dectective just called me.
He took all info and told me he is going to call Val and see if she would come in on her own. If not he will issue a warrant for her arrest.
I thought this was going to be easy, but I saw her last night and she was like her old self. She wasn't high, and she wasn't angry, and she wasn't so tired that she couldn't function. She was at her ex husbands house playing darts and haveing a good time. She had spent the weekend there with her kids. When I left she gave me a hug and told me she loved me. Now I am putting her in jail. Am I doing the right thing? This is so hard, It hurts so much. It would be so much easier if she had been high or angry last night. How will she ever forgive me? We have always been so very close. Now I feel as if I have turned on her.
I know in my head that the Val I saw last night is only temporary, and she may very well be high again by now. But it makes this so much harder than I thought it would be.
