I had my daughter arrested last year because she and her "friends" kept breaking in my house and taking all sorts of stuff. I thought it would make her see the light and somehow save her. I don't know if it was right or wrong, but I do know that the 4 nights she spent in jail, I got the best sleep of my life. She was "safe", safer than on the streets. She was perhaps better supervised that I could have done.
Unfortunately, it didn't change her. She took off months ago and I don't even know if she's alive.
