My sister confided in me that she was using meth. that was several months ago after she attempted suicide. I didn't say anything to my mother b/c I was ignorant as to how bad meth was and thought that surely after trying to kill herself that she would stop. well she has continued using and she finally 'came out' to my mother yesterday that she was using drugs but she wouldn't tell her it was meth. my mother doesn't know what to do b/c she has never had to deal with this before, she thinks she can nag her enough to quit. I want to tell my mother that it is meth and have her come to this website so she can understand that she can't DO anything to help my sister until she WANTS to stop herself. I learned that from this site (THANK YOU). however myy sister doesn't want her to know that it is meth. what do I do without betraying my sister? I know that my sister is using me to try to get sympathy. But I am sympathetic to a point. MAJOR DELIMA HERE!!! ADVISE??? thank you all for these postings. they have helped me so much in the 7 hours I have been glued to the computer reading all this.
