I am blessed to hear from you Kelly! And that Doug is well.
I, too, just went thru some incredible things. My ex showed up a few weeks ago about 70 or so pounds lighter and with a drug-induced psychosis, etc. so I finally was able to put a restraining order on him after repeated appearances at my rehearsals, Dr. appts, home, office, etc. and as I returned to my office after TRO was granted on Monday, he ran into my office and threatened to take "half" of everything I own then walked over to my son (who works for me) and as he was seated on his desk, my ex started removing his shirt saying that he's "not afraid of some 22 year old" and punched my son on the face and it cut my son's eye. My son then wrestled him down to restrain him until the cops arrived. While this was happening, my ex's arm got loose and he kept trying to hit my son so I had to jump on him also to pull his arm back. I honestly NEVER thought it would ever get to this point but I also know that this drug is a serious devil-possesion manifestation. The cops arrived and they arrested him for abuse and he is sitting in jail until Sept. 10th unless someone bails him out. Needless to say the divorce is going through because it was defaulted. Apparently my ex was running hard with his drug. I have never seen him look like this and his psychosis is even worse than ever. A week before this he kept going on and on about how he has a relationship with God and that my prayers won't be answered because I am divorcing him. I am amazed at the manipulation and lies yet I know it comes from demonic forces. My children are broken and I can't imagine how my son feels after this yet he would not hit his father back but was just protecting me and himself from further attack. It hurts me big time when I look at my son's black, swollen eye. Please pray for us. Thru all this, I know that Jesus reigns and calls for us to continue to be diligent and on guard.
