Hi! I realize it has been almost 4 years since I last posted. Just want to give you all a quick update.
In June it will be the start of my 6th ( god has it been that long? ) year off that crap! I am doing well. I am still at the same job, my kids are almost grown, I am well off now. And for the first time in years, I have come to know who Melinda really is! I have met a wonderful man, and I am in love for the first time in my life! He too is a recovering meth user. So we have a lot in common, and more than that we understand our addictions, and we support each others recovery!
For those of you who don't know me I used to post about 4 years ago, I was a heavy meth user. And I too have been exposed to the hell that this drug so freely shares. The only thing that stopped me was a second attempt at suicide which (thankfully) failed. I am part of the small statistic that we call "success". Even though this drug still crosses my path from time to time.
Been There, Doug, Lula, and Heather, (and whoever else I haven't mentioned ) you are still here! Giving help to those who need it! Thank you, many times your posts helped me! The fight must never be over against this ugly drug!
Heather you got divorced! (((YAY))) for you!! And he finally made it to prison, what a nice place for him to go! I am so glad to read that you stood up and said no more! Again.....(((YAY)))!! I am so happy for you! For a while there I was starting to think you would never find serenity!
Hope all is doing well! And keep up the work that is so desperately needed. You all are a blessing. I will be sure to drop in from time to time! God bless!B-)
