Absolutely Hula. I know exactly what you mean. It doesn't have to be that he or any addict is using, but it is something deeper. The fact that he us attracted to friends such as his new friend. You know how many times I have seen that with Spencer? So many times. He even makes friends with people in rehab. He can't walk the road alone and just get the help he needs to stay clean and recover his mind. He finds poison wherever it is. I see your hubby has the same trait. I am sorry that this is happening in your life again.
I know that without Spencer in our lives, we are peaceful, our home is peaceful, but as soon as he is allowed one step in, by letter, phone, or visit, a tornado knocks our home off it's stilts. Although I do not allow that any longer. Learned my lesson the hard way.
You are always in my thoughts and in my prayers.
Heather
