Lucy,
It's the hardest thing you will ever do in your life but you have to go on. I always try to keep busy and that helps with keeping my mind off of things. The only thing to do is put your daughter in God's hands and let him take care of her because there is nothing you can do for her. I use to think about her all the time but it is getting easier. I still have my weak moments when I just want to go get her and bring her home but with the support of family and this board I have been able to stand my ground. Just remember that the more you try to rescue her the longer it is going to take for her to hit rock bottom. And from experience....don't keep looking for her rock bottom because it is different for each person and you will drive yourself insane by looking for it. You will be in my prayers. Just stay strong and remember that you have a little one that needs you to be strong and supporting. Life does go on and there are others that need you right now...you can't help your daughter but you can help and be there for your other family.
