I am so sorry Heather. The good news here is that you now know and can make decisions for you and your son accordingly. As weird as it sounds -it is better knowing that they are using again and explains a lot of the weird and inconsistant behavior. Your son is young enough to move forward with little no memory of his dad. I wish I had known everything about my daughter's father before I moved her to CA to be with him and begged her to open her heart to him for him only to pick up a meth pipe and choose to abandon her and his responsibilities to her. She is almost 13 and that is a difficult age for any child -a girl with hormones even more. She will forever carry with her what her father did to her. Your son will not remember this time and hopefully you may meet a wonderful loving man who someday will be the father he deserves to have. Keep him away from you and your children -walk away and don't look back. Move forward with confidence, strength, and GOD by your side. If you need help in finding that courage -we are here to help!
