Hi Susan,
Celebrate Recovery is an off shoot from the Purpose-Driven Life Pastor Rick Warren's ministry. It is awesome and a very safe place to share. We do it because in the Bible, we're told that Jesus comforted us in our time of suffering so that when someone else goes through it, we will be able to come close to them and give the same comfort He gave us. It is important not to waste the pain and suffering we endured by having self-pity, bitterness, anger or resentment. Help someone else. It's our path.
