This is it,I am raising her 2 yr old, and this is her last chance, am I wrong to feel that way, to in a since give up on my own daughter?
Well, Lisa...that's exactly what you are doing right now, as her mother is in jail. I wouldn't consider TOO MUCH what you will do at the end of 10 months. You should now take this day to day, and make every day for you and your granddaughter the best it can be. Also, make peace with your daughter while she is in jail. Let her know you are 'good' and so is her daughter. You can survive, and for her- it will be good to have you on her side while she's in jail. The reason is, let her know who her REAL DEMONS are...it's not you, and it's no one else in her life- just herself. Take this 10 month opportunity to grow and give your grandchild what she deserves...a nice life. Show her love and compassion. That way, your mind will be clear and freer to make decisions 10 months from now. Take care of this day. God bless you, you are are fulfilling HIS wishes.
