Lucky for me he is not a blood relative huh? I know our son is, but since he chooses this life, I have cut all ties with him. I know that addiction is or can be a life long struggle, but it isn't always. But for that huge percentage that is, I will tag out of the race and let Spencer be Spencer and Heather be Heather. I am opening up my heart in hopes to find love again. This is a huge step for me. But I only want who God has for me. My best friend, whoever that is.

I actually said No to my cousin the other day at my CHristmas Eve party and he has been clean for one year. He looked at me and said what do you mean No. I said No.
He was so suprised, but it felt good. I meant No too. I didn't mean yes so I didn't say yes.
