Lynn - He has had plenty of chances. He chose the drugs. I know that guilt feeling too well, so I know how you are feeling. But let me tell you that it is the addict that has made you feel that way. They are good at manipulation and lieing, so when they get caught, it is us that acused it all somehow. but we know the truth. We did the best we could with the cards that were dealt us.
It will be best to cut all ties with him as quickly as you can. It is just easier that way.
keep coming back here for support. We can tell you the same things over and over and soon it will all make tons of sense.
i know you are really sad, and that sadness will take time to go away, but like I said, cutting ties now will help YOU and the kids in the long run.
