Just make sure you are real tough because I remember Spencer made all those same promises and that scares me for you. I do believe everyone is different and that some can get away from this mess, so don't get me wrong. I have seen it both ways.......don't go down, stay up, stay strong and I'm sure things will turn out the way that God has intended for your life.
When is he getting out? And what is the plan after? I'm sure you told us but I forgot after dealing with my roller coaster that I can finally day I got off of. I am proud of me. I don't believe the roller coaster has to apply in every situation, but just be aware of what can happen so you will see any signs should they show up. I pray that he stays clean and gives your family a great life together. You and those kids sure do deserve it.
Spencer is another breed and I understand now what I am dealing with. The sickness goes way beyond addiction.......way beyond......because if he makes me sick and makes my son just as sick, something is wrong......hopefully the judge will listen to what I have to say about that.
Keep your chin up and remember to love yourself first.
