 I am so happy that court is over. It went very well. Thank you for praying with me and believing with me. God was there and things went amazingly well. So I get there and he is there. A few minutes later I hear Bernie's voice, I guess he was there for moral support or whatever. anyways it was kind of humorous which helped my nerves a whole bunch. This was a default case just between the judge and me and they quickly let him know that when he checked in. They said since you did not respond to the papers you were served, physically you are here but you are not here, and you will not be able to address the judge at all. Then we had to stand and be sworn in and Spencer and Bernie stood up and the bailiff said to them - do you have a case here? ha ha . I was thanking God, especially because well it was funny because I felt on top of the world. So I got full custody and he gets visitation only agreed upon by me. I didn't have financial info for him so the child support will have to go through the DA which is fine because I already have one going on. And he has to pay half of the childcare. and half of all unpaid medical. He cannot take my boy out of three counties I named without written permission from me. Basically I showed him that I have control over everything and my sons safety is my number one priority. He was bitter and that is fine. I am feeling great. He even walked out before me instead of letting me walk first. Oh and the judge asked if he helps me financially and I said no. Get this - he and Bernie were both dressed in suits and ties. They looked like a million bucks and I get no help with child support. I'm sure if this wasn't a default case - that judge would have had words for him. She watched them as they walked out. So that was that. Burden lifted from my shoulders. I thanked God in that courtroom and told him how good he is.
Again thank you for everything you have been and done for me and to me. I appreciate you all more than you realize.
