 The smell of smoked meth has a very faint and unique scent. To another user it is recognized immediately, to a non user almost imposable to detect. Manufacturing meth is said to have a smell of cat urine, or ammonia, or even roasted almonds, but when they blow up everything smells burnt.

Why? Do you suspect someone smoking in your house? Well some things to look for are, speed pipes, or broken light bulbs. Q-tips, cotton balls, or anything with black or brown residue on it. They use things like Q-tips to clean the pipe. Lots of male users will wipe the residue on there hands on to the front of there pants. So the residue will be all over the front of there pants. Your instincts are probably right but if you want to be sure there are drug detection kits. You can spray an area like his or her room or front of there pants or cloths the kit can detect certain kinds of drugs. Good Luck.
