He graduated from his rehab yesterday, and is going to send me the certificate. His counselor telephoned me to find out what was what, and she even said that he has done a complete turn-a-round. They are trying to get him a parole hearing in June, but if not...it will be in July. If approved for release, they then have to authorize it with the state we live in because he is incarcerated in another state. If all goes well, he should be home about two months after being approved.

His turn-a-round happened once I cut him off financially, and cut his letters down to almost nothing while I focused on our healing and lives here.

Everything on this board told me to walk away and leave him, but God has been telling me to give him one more chance(I won't go into all the details about all the signs from God)...so, with that I am having faith in God that God will see this family through things, and lead us on the path that God wants us to be on.

We have done a post-marital contract so that my husband has what is expected of him in writing for him to remain being a part of this family. I also had a few things that needed changing, and are part of the contract.

He is going to church, and not socializing with people that are not godly in an effort to start his new life now, and I am getting more involved in the church here to blaze the pathways for our family's new life.

Pray for us that we may make it, and that my boys can have their father in their lives. Picture of my boys on April 13, 2006 if anyone is interested is at http://www.geocities.com/sweetnspicygal62/DSC02831.JPG

For those of you that might be thinking that I am another religious fanatic...think again. I have turned to God to find a way out of this situation my husband put us in, and to give my children a better life. I am an ex-druggie, clean ten months now. Although my husband is a meth addict in and out of prisons because of meth in one way or another for the past 20 years, I outshined him in the ways of immorality and thrillseaking, etc. I was one of the people your mother warned you about...

It is absolutely amazing what happens when you put your faith in God and live the way God intended, or at least try to.
