Praise God, Melissa. Our father is rejoicing because you have returned to Him. That is all He really wants yet WE turn away because WE keep thinking we can "handle" the things in our life.
Heather, my ex went through the same thing where he looked horrible for a while then started looking better and was better groomed. That changed when things got really unmanageable for him when I completely detached and he went through some severe depression then used again but prior to that, he was looking good because he was on the hunt. Spencer has someone there for him, Bernie. That is a sick situation but Bernie will tire of the whole thing soon, too. When Spencer runs out of sick people that help him get sicker, things will change for him. I pray by then you and your boys will be healed and moving forward.
