Well the process has started and I don't understand what is going on with my daughter. She was upset when she found out but the other night she called me at 10:00pm while I was going to the store. She made a point to let me know that she passed me on our street and that she knew I was alone. She then proceeded to tell me that my mother had told her that she should call me that I had some things to say to her. I was caught off guard by the way she was acting so all I managed to get out was that I loved her and that I was sorry that we were adopting but that was the way it had to be. She told me that she wasn't worried that she was going to get the baby back. I later talked to my mom and she said that she didn't tell her anything like that.

It was almost as if she was laughing about the whole thing. She told me that she called me because she wasn't pissed at that moment so she figured she would give me a call. There was no emotion in her voice it was really weird. I expected her to either be yelling or crying or both but not this. It was like talking to someone completly different. It was almost like talking to her one time when she was high, but this time she was just evil sounding.

I know that this is going to be one hell of a fight in court because she is not going to give up easy and she is going to come up with every lie that she can. She already told my mom that she was going to accuse us of child abuse when she was younger. I am not looking forward to this but I know that it is in God's hands so what happens is meant to happen.
