When I first came to this site, "Helpful Tips" was the main thing I read. It was the page I saved as a link to this site. It was Nov. 24, 2004. At the time, I knew zero about meth. Reading the tips is painful, but appreciated very much. I need to study it again, and try to apply it to my life. What I have tried to do, and has not worked, is to not think about my son. I've tried to block him out of my mind. That has not worked, and I have spiraled down. I need to rethink everything, and start over.

A big problem I have is my faith. I used to be a strong Christian with strong faith. Now I'm not sure I even understand prayer anymore, or how it helps. I used to think that Jesus was always with me, but now he seems so far away. I still pray every day, mostly for mercy and forgiveness, and give thanks for blessings, even tho I'm not sure my prayers are heard. But I have trouble believing God will do anything to change my son or change me, or prevent any disasters from happening. I wish I knew how to get my faith back.
