Praise God! If they are truly reaching out for Jesus and He is their Higher Power, there is nothing better. In truth, they will have to know that they must submit their wills and their care over to Jesus. I have found that this, by far, is one of the best programs when they submit to God. That is living life on life's terms, etc. and it teaches how to take their moral & spiritual inventory daily. This is very, very important because it keeps us on a better path of appreciation and gratitude. Addicts tend to lose this and thats one of the steps leading to relapse not to mention the enemy's attacks because they are returning to God and satan hates that. Pray for them but most of all, pray for your peace and strength. I will pray for you, too.
