Usually your gut instincts are correct, but if you feel you need proof...do the "bonding" thing. Offer to go with him on his errands. Tell him that you just want to be with him. If he has a problem with you being with him, that should tell you. If he is constantly going to a place in the house where you aren't....invite him to be with you, to cuddle, or whatever you can say that doesn't sound like "choose time with me instead of being alone because I think you're mething when you get away from me." Spring is here...ask him out on a date for the day...stay close to him saying you're looking for a romantic day...see if he tries to find a way to be without you....you'll know.
