All of this is so new to me. However, everything I have read or seen, states that it's near impossible to quit on your own, and you are addicted from the first use. I do have 4 friends, 2 couples who in the midst of my difficuties told me that they used to use. All 4 quit on their own. It was that one moment when they saw what they had to lose, and what they were doing to their family, that gave them the strength to quit cold turkey. I guess that's another reason I have stuck it out with my husband. I just hope he has that moment, and I can believe he is through.
