 My granddaughter is 3 so we have not got to the questions yet. I'm sure they will start coming soon though. I think telling them the truth as soon as they start asking is the best thing to do. I covered for my ex husband and in the end my daughter blamed everything on herself. So letting them know the truth that their parents are sick and have a disease is what I am going to do with my granddaughter. Remember you can't save anything, it is going to be up to your daughter to save the relationship and in the mean time don't let your granddaughter blame herself.
