In response to your addict asking "what happened to better or worse?" I posted a Scripture earlier...1 Corinthians 5:13 I believe...that answers that question.
"Yes, I made a vow to you and God to be with you through good times and bad, for better or worse. But you've turned away from God and brought evil among us. I am just doing as the Lord has stated in His Scripture."
