I've told him all the same things but he is still too selfish to realize much. I've tried it all. I found some letters that I had wrote over 4 years ago to my husband and the same stuff was going on and the things I said to him were so loving but they were the same things I said over and over all these years. Those letters shocked me cause really I had forgotten about how far back all of this goes. He wasn't there for his son then and he isn't here for him now the way a real father should, could, would be. ANd of course it's all my fault for keeping him from seeing him. ha ha .... Anyways I file my papers today and we will see what the judge decides. I hope I get a judge that knows and understands the affect of an addict father in a young childs life.
