Yes you should let your children know. Children feel all this stress and tension. They just have questions in their minds that they are afraid to ask and usually end up blaming themselves for all the problems. Let them know that daddy is an addict (Or at least sick) and that it is a disease. That daddy still loves them and it is not their fault he is not around he just can not show his love for them right now. Jail is the symptom of the disease. I hope you read the �Helpful Tips� post. There is a site on addiction and disease there. Also much, if not all the info you could want on this drug and addiction to help you cope and help you explain to your children why daddy does what he does. You are not alone here, Good Luck.
