Hi,I am Casie's Aunt and she told me about this site. Our entire family is going through hell because of this drug my sister is on. She is living with my enabeling Mother and her husband. She has lied, stolen, and used my mother's alheimer's to get drugs. My Mother doesn't see what is going on. I finally have to stop contact with my OWN mother because my sister is still living there. I have tried with everything I have in me to help her see what my sister is doing and the "old school ways' get in the way every time. It's sad, but I have to stop any contact as long as my sister is in her home. I have phoned adult protective services, probation officers, etc. and they all say they have to go by protocol under the ridiculous Prop. 36 and as long as my mother says she wants her there, there is nothing they can do!!! Before dealing with this sister I dealt with my younger alchoholic siter and my mother enabeled her as well. I am so TIRED and want this to all go away. I have a husband and 11 year old daughter and they are my main focus, but it is hard when you deal with daily crap that doesn't even make sense anymore. As of today I won't talk with my mother anymore as long as my sister is in her home. Pretty sad what drugs can do to a family isn't it? No more answering phone calls. I will screen all of them from now on. What a way to live......Our family has been torn apart, your absoultly right, Casie. Is there ever an end to this nighmare? Ouida
