my husband of 5 years was sober for 4 years before i met him. he started using again when his teenage daughtr came to live with us, her mother is an addict and she couldn't care for her. the daughter is also an addict and brought it in our home and he started using. of course there was the denials and the promises to get help and stay clean , but now after 2 years of the rollercoaster i am finished. i made him move out 1 year ago, but he still calls and trys to say if he came home he would "just" use pot and "only" use meth on the weekends. that i am being unreasonable and unwilling to compromise to save our marriage. he has pawned everything of value that he could get his hands on and constantly tells me he has no where to go and he is starving. and how could i be so mean as to not help him out. he calls at all hours of the night and keeps me on that roller coaster even though he is nolonger in the home. i have never used any drugs and don't know how to respond, i don't want to sound mean but this is getting old.
